Mac OS X 10.6.4 is an essential update for all Snow Leopard users.

Finally, there are fixes and improvements for external devices such as RAW image compatibility for additional digital cameras, a resolved issue with using third-party USB web cameras and a resolved issue with noise when using some third-party FireWire audio devices. There are also fixes and improvements for Aperture 3, added tethering support for additional digital camera models and additional IPTC metadata compatibility issues are addressed.
